Factors associated with Suicidal Ideation among Older Adults in the Community Using Data from the 2021 Community Health Survey

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to report the level suicidal ideation in older Korean adults living community and identify factors associated with ideation.Methods: A total 73,326 were selected analyzed using 2021 Community Health Survey. collected data Rao-scott test logistic regression SAS 9.4.Results: Among adults, 9.2% had ideations. Life dissatisfaction factor most strongly ideation, followed by depression, poor subjective health, high stress, cognitive disability, lower economic state, alone, age, smoking, low education, women, diabetes.Conclusion: When developing suicide preventive interventions for it is important consider mental health indicators, such as life satisfaction, stress. In addition, active efforts more vulnerable subgroups should individual adult’s status, family structure, education rather than taking a generalized approach.
